Chiropractic manipulation, often referred to as spinal adjustments, is a cornerstone of holistic healthcare, aiming to restore balance and promote optimal function within the body. Rooted in the belief that proper alignment of the spine is crucial for overall well-being, chiropractors employ gentle yet targeted maneuvers to address musculoskeletal issues and enhance the body's innate healing capacities.
At its heart, chiropractic manipulation involves skilled hands-on techniques applied to the spine and other joints. The primary goal is to alleviate pain, improve joint mobility, and enhance the nervous system's communication with the rest of the body. Chiropractors use their hands or specialized instruments to deliver controlled, precise force to specific areas, correcting misalignments known as subluxations.
During a chiropractic session, practitioners conduct a thorough assessment to identify areas of spinal misalignment or dysfunction. These misalignments can arise from various factors, including poor posture, injuries, or everyday wear and tear. The chiropractor then employs tailored adjustments to gently manipulate the spine or affected joints, aiming to restore proper alignment.
The benefits of chiropractic manipulation extend beyond pain relief. Many individuals report improved range of motion, reduced muscle tension, and enhanced overall physical function after undergoing chiropractic adjustments. Moreover, by optimizing spinal alignment, chiropractors contribute to a more balanced nervous system, which plays a vital role in supporting the body's ability to heal and maintain optimal health.
Chiropractic manipulation is a non-invasive and drug-free approach to wellness, making it an appealing option for those seeking natural solutions to musculoskeletal issues. Whether you're grappling with back pain, headaches, or simply aiming to enhance your overall well-being, chiropractic manipulation offers a holistic path to renewed vitality, guided by the skilled hands of chiropractic professionals. Embrace the healing touch of chiropractic care and unlock the potential for a healthier, more aligned you.
We are an out-of-network self-pay clinic. Self-pay chiropractic means that we are out-of-network with all insurance providers and do not bill directly through insurance. However, you may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance company by providing them with an itemized “Superbill,” which we will gladly provide to you following your visit. Your reimbursement depends on your out-of-network benefits. Payment is due at time of service. Since you are paying for services in full, your insurance carrier will send the reimbursement to the policyholder. We strongly encourage you to contact your insurance carrier directly for information about your coverage and reimbursement.
Being self-pay allows us to focus on your specific goals and perform treatments geared toward those goals without being dictated by insurance rules and regulations. Our patients pay us directly for their 1-on-1, personalized chiropractic, and rehab sessions. We accept forms of payment including cash, credit/debit card, and HSA/FSA card.
Insurance companies are continually cutting reimbursement rates for treatment services, thereby dictating how in-network clinicians treat patients. With this decline in reimbursement and covered services, many clinics are forced to treat patients for shorter treatment times, use only pre-approved treatment techniques, and lower patient care standards.
By being a self-pay based practice, we are able to decide what treatment techniques and durations are best for our patients. This allows us to provide the highest quality care during longer, 1-on-1 visits. This increase in treatment time and quality results in our patients getting better, faster.
Our new patient visits are 40 minutes long, and our comprehensive follow-ups are 20 minutes, allowing us to dive deep and provide multiple, complimentary treatment techniques to improve your experience and treatment response.
